February 2009- We cannot begin to tell you how wonderful this trip truly was- so much more than we had ever imagined. Themmy is the kindest person I have ever met. I cried the morning we left- loved all of the camp staff and the animals were WONDERFUL! It truly was a lifetime experience and the journey through all of it was exceptional. What security precautions should one take on safari?
Ensure that you carry a record of the numbers of your passport, airline tickets and travelers cheques. These should be kept in a safe place. Never leave baggage or personal items unattended, especially at airports. Please note that expensive looking jewelry should not be taken on safari.

Within most of Tanzania's National Parks you are not allowed out of the car or outside your campsite on foot. There are some exceptions - notably Mahale Mountains and Gombe Stream National Parks where there are no roads and you walk to see chimpanzees.
